Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways that you can help at the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum, and we need your special talents!

During our busy season, the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum relies on its wonderful volunteers to greet visitors and guide them on tours, operate the gift shop, maintain our beautiful gardens and our historic building, plan events, and staff our concession stand during our popular concert series.  Help is also needed in the planning and implementation of long-range museum projects.

Our volunteers contribute their skills to constructing new displays, researching local history, writing articles for our newsletter, arranging special events, writing publicity releases, and helping in the day-to-day office tasks of the organization.
